In support of Mandela Day, coming up on the 18th of July, we looked at how we could bring some happiness and health to those pets who are still looking for a family of their own. We didn't want to create a positive difference to just some, but to as many pets as possible, throughout our communities.
Our campaign aims to impact approximately 40 animal welfare organisations around the country and we felt the best way to do this was to involve the members of our community in each region.
With your help we can have many more happier and healthier pets in our communities.
Each Absolute Pets store has selected an animal welfare organisation in their region and between the 1st and 18th of July we will be collecting donations at our stores (any pet care items, not cash) to donate to the organisation that the store has selected. In each store we are aiming to collect a minimum of 67 items and for every 67 items collected, Absolute Pets will donate a further 67kg's of food.
Whether its blankets, beds, food, toys, treats or accessories - anything that could help a pet in need, as every bit counts.
