ADAPTIL® Junior collars are an excellent solution to comfort newly adopted puppies and facilitate their education.

ADAPTIL® Junior contains 5% of Dog Appeasing Pheromone (D.A.P) in a plastic collar matrix made of a mixture of different components, the main one being Ethylene Vinylacetate Copolymer (EVA).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Place a finger in the plastic loop situated on the inside of the collar close to the buckle.
Using this loop, pull the thin plastic to uncoil the collar.
Place over your puppy’s head and around the neck.
Tighten the collar to fit snugly.
You should be able to place no more than two fingers between the collar and puppy’s skin.
If your puppy has long hair, part the hair to ensure that the collar is in close contact with the skin.
Ensure the collar is fixed inside the buckle.
Cut off the excess portion of the collar.
The Adaptil® Junior works on all breeds of dogs.
The appeasing pheromone is released immediately.
If your puppy wears another collar, it is important to ensure the Adaptil® Junior collar stays in contact with skin.
The collar placement should be checked regularly, to make sure it’s not too tight, or conversely not too loose (which would not ensure the best efficacy). This can sometimes happen when several dogs live together, if they play and pull too much on the collar.
As the puppy grows, it’s important to regularly adjust the fit of the collar to make sure it’s not too tight.
Use a new collar every 30 days.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Do not open the protective pouch until you are ready to use the product.
WARNING
Do not put the collar in contact with shampoo or chlorinated water (in a swimming pool). If you puppy is swimming in the sea or lake just one time with the collar, it’s not a problem.
Never fix a lead on the collar (the buckle is not designed for this and will break).
Do not use on puppies with extensive skin lesions. If signs of skin irritation or allergy appear, remove the collar, and consider using ADAPTIL® Calm Home Diffuser as an alternative.
