Community Update

With our 2020 Mandela Day Donation Drive we hope to provide some much-needed support and relief to 41 animal welfare organisations around the country; and make a positive difference for all the animals in their care.

As you may or may not know, Lokuno runs an initiative to support animal welfare, whereby for every bag of food sold and every box of wet food sold, R1 goes to animal welfare.

The Absolute Pets, "Paws on the Promenade dog walk" 2018 was a successful community event attended by roughly 100 dog walkers and their dogs. It raised R4090 and 50kg’s of pet food for animal welfare, which were donated to Feeding the Furballs and Project Dog. 

Thank you to Hill's Pet Nutrition for their sponsorship, the local businesses from the pet industry and the UIP who all contributed to making this a successful community event.
