Absolute Pets is proud to announce that we have partnered with the Cape of Good Hope SPCA to host the 2019 Woefie Wandel, now called the Absolute Pets SPCA Woefie Wandel.
The role we play in supporting animal welfare is so important to us and very much a part of what we’re about – helping all pets live a happy and healthy life. So we jumped at the opportunity to partner up with the CoGH SPCA for this event to help raise funds and support the work that they do for thousands of animals each year.
We are also particularly excited about this because we are bringing you a bigger and better Woefie Wandel that will include the much loved dog walk as well as a pet fair, which means an afternoon of fun, quality time for families and their dogs, whilst raising funds for an important cause.
We are also delighted to announce that Smile FM’s very own Lindy Lehto will be emceeing the event and surprising some lucky supporters with amazing prizes throughout the day!
What you can expect at our Woefie Wandel Pet Fair:
For the dog walk you can choose to the do the 2km or 4km walk. There will be water points and our special helpers to look after you and your dog along the way.
We invite you to extend your stay, by grabbing a bite to eat or enjoying some coffee, wine or beer, relaxing on the lawns or visiting our various pet stalls.
Top brands from the pet care industry will be there exhibiting their products and services. They will be available to answer questions and chat to you about providing the best care for your pet:
- Top vet-recommended food brands - you will have the opportunity to ask questions about your pet’s nutritional needs and the various food options available on the market.
- Tick, flea and dewormer brands – learn more about the importance of protecting your pet against parasites and find out what product works best for your pet.
- Dog training school – the school will be doing some demonstrations to show you the benefits of training your dog and what you can achieve.
- Pet physio and rehabilitation – speak to experts about keeping your pet in good health or the best way to help them recover from surgeries and injuries.
- Microchipping – get your pet microchipped at the event for R100.00
- Pet healthcare brands – from joint care to general health, find out what products will help keep your pet happy and healthy.
- Pet toys and accessories – your favourite brands will be there, showcasing their latest products and available to answer any questions you have.
- Absolute Pets Pop-up pet store – find some great specials or something to spoil your dog on your special day out.
- Grooming station – you are welcome to a free brush-down after the walk. Nail clipping and ear-cleaning services will be available.
- Pet insurance – representatives will be available to talk you through some options and answer any questions.
