Absolute Pets, together with Starlight Media, are excited to announce the seven LUCKY winners of the June StarPet competition.
Not only did they win their share of R22 500, including R17 000 in Absolute Pets shopping vouchers, but they also helped raise a total of R9 979 (which was rounded off to R10 000) for Gauteng-based animal welfare organisation, Kitty and Puppy Haven!
People’s Choice winners
The three pets that received the most votes for June are:
1st Prize: Luka, R5 000 Absolute Pets voucher and R2 000 cash
Besides her unique facial expressions and fun personality, Luka’s owner describes her as the ‘best doggy kisser in the world’.
2nd Prize: BlÚ, R4 000 Absolute Pets voucher and R1 000 cash
BlÚ is just a year old, and his owner says he is ‘the most joyful little doggy’.
3rd Prize: Bruno, R2 500 Absolute Pets voucher and R500 cash
Bruno is a rescue dog, and his owner says they will do anything and everything to ensure he is happy, healthy and loved.
Angel’s Choice winners
In addition to receiving a generous donation of R10 000, Kitty and Puppy Haven also had the honour of selecting this month’s Angel’s Choice winners!
1st Prize: Finn, R2 500 Absolute Pets voucher and R500 cash
Finn’s owners refer to him as the ‘sweetest and most loyal dog you could ever hope for.’
2nd Prize: Teddy, R1 000 Absolute Pets voucher and R500 cash
Teddy’s owner says he has ‘a big heart, a curious mind and such a zest for life, so much so, that every day has been a special one since the day we met.’
3rd Prize: Sailor, R500 Absolute Pets voucher and R500 cash
Sailor’s owner says just because she has one eye, does not mean she lacks any adventure in her life. She goes on road trips, kayak outings, and has even been on a yacht!
StarPick of the Month
Every month, the wonderful team at StarPet selects one StarPick of the month. Their StarPick for June was none other than Milo who clearly loves being in and around water!
1st Prize: Milo, R1 500 Absolute Pets voucher and R500 cash
Milo’s owner says that she loves swimming and taking baths. She also enjoys lazing around in the sun or on the bed!
